I have never been the Gift-Basket-Giving sort of person. There is something about Pre-Made gift baskets (of any kind) that usually turn me off. Largely because I find there is something inside that I don’t like. I hate to spend money on an entire gift when I really only like half of what’s in it. So it really surprised me when I saw the Holiday Sweet Treats Candy Basket atHoliday Gifts & Baskets.
Not only did I love the look of this basket, but everything inside it looked tasty! But still, I was convinced that after further inspection I would find hidden “off brand” candy. After reading through the list of sweet treats inside my taste buds had doubts on a just a few items, but I was pleasantly surprised that I recognized all of the brand names filling the package. When my basket arrived I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, neither was my husband. I literally had to bat him away so that he wouldn’t devour it all before I got a chance to look.
Inside we found:
- 3 oz. Ghirardelli Mint Chocolate Bar,
- 5 regular size Assorted Candy Bars,
- 3 Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares,
- 3.04 oz. Hershey Kisses Bag,
- 1 fun size Candy,
- 1.3 oz. Dove Dark Chocolate Bar,
- 3 Chocolate Truffles,
- 3 oz. Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark Chocolate Bar,
- 2 Theater Size Candy Boxes and
- Peppermint Hard Candies.
Right away I called dibs on the Twix and Kitkat while Jake claimed the Cookies n Cream Hershey Bar as well as the Boxed Candy. We decided to share the rest. After pulling out some of the candy my basket still looked full and I realized just how much candy was packed in. I appreciated that it wasn’t filled with a lot of “fluff” in between the candy.
As delicious as the candy was, the presentation was also lovely. Even shipped half way across the country the gift basket was so well put together it remained completely in tact.
