Wreck it Ralph is gonna wreck it old school style when he smashes into theaters this November! As a kid that grew up on Atari, Nintendo and arcade games, I can’t wait to see this movie!
Wreck-It Ralph, a hilarious, arcade-game-hopping adventure from Disney stars Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) the token trouble maker in his video game. Ralph is tired of being the bad guy and watching Fix-It Felix, Jr. (voice of Jack McBrayer), get all the credit for saving the day! Looking to prove he can be a hero too, Ralph leaves his game as he searches for his chance to shine.
Along the way, Ralph meets tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Jane Lynch) from the first-person action game Hero’s Duty, and feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) from the candy-coated cart racing game, Sugar Rush. Vanellope might be Ralph’s first real friend, but will she stand by him when a deadly enemy is unleashed, threatening the entire arcade and herself. This is Ralph’s opportunity to prove he can be the hero—but can he do it in time?
Have you seen the new trailer? The sound effects alone get my heart racing as I remember the old days, when we could spend hours playing Pac-Man in the mall arcade. Just seeing Q-bert brings back some memories!
See a sneak peek of Ralph’s game hopping adventures through Hero’s Duty and Sugar Rush, as he makes new friends and learns some valuable lessons.
I love his line, “It’s hard to love your job, when no one else likes you for doing it.”
If you’re half as excited about the movie as I am, make sure and enter the Play & Win Sweepstakes! When you complete missions, you’ll earn coins, and get the chance to win a hero’s journey from Adventures by Disney and other prizes.
