When my daughter was first born I diligently wrote in her baby book at every milestone. Her first ultrasound, kick, who was at the hospital, and the first time she smiled. However, as she became more active and we became even busier, I became less and less diligent. I always thought “I’ll have to update it tonight..tomorrow. I REALLY need to write it in the baby book!” Finally, at some point, I have to visit my facebook page and see when I gushed about the milestone. That’s the problem with baby books, we put them up to keep them nice and then they aren’t readily accessible. My phone, on the other hand, is practically attached to my hand!
From accessories to toys Safety 1st has always done a good job of knowing what parents need. Although they really took the cake when they came up with the free Saftey 1st Baby Book app for iPhone and iPad!
The Saftey 1st babybook has all of the key features your printed book has – pictures, milestones, memorable moments and notes.
Plus, it provides 2 things no printed version has:
- A section where parents can find tips and articles categorized by your child’s age.
- Create multiple color coded baby books for each child in 1 convenient location!
As a first time mom I occasionally encounter situations where I just need a second opinion. My first thought is to get on the all knowing world wide web and see what other parents have to say about it. There is inevitably someone who has been there too. With the Saftey 1st Baby Book I now have a host of tips and articles built right into Maddilyn’s baby book!
