Disney•Pixar’s newest creation, Brave, hits theaters this summer on June 22. I’ve been sharing goodies about this highly anticipated film with you since November and during my recent trip to Pixar, I was even treated to the first 30 minutes of the film! Well lucky for me (and you!), my Brave adventure isn’t quite over and will be continuing with a walk down the Red Carpet for the World Premiere in June!
Little ol’ me was just invited to join an exclusive group of bloggers in Los Angeles from Sunday, June 17th – Wednesday, June 20th to embark on my very own action packed adventure!
The weekend starts off with a little luxury as we check into the Hilton Garden Inn located in the center of Hollywood! Then it’s two days of wonderful movie madness as we attend a screening of BRAVE (right on the Walt Disney Studios Lot!), get a sneak peak of Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie, as well as a screening of DreamWorks Pictures’ People Like Us. (phew, thats more movies than I usually get to see in 6 months on my own – lol!)
As if attending the World Premiere of Brave at the Grand Opening of the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood (where the Academy Awards are held) wasn’t enough, we will also have the opportunity to interview Kelly Macdonald (voice of “Merida”), Kevin McKidd (voice of “Lord MacGuffin”), Director Mark Andrews and Producer Katherine Sarafian!
If you were able to ask them anything, what would it be? What would your daughter ask them?
You would think my adventure would be over at this point – but it’s not. I’m going to pause here to SQUUUUEEEEEELLLLLL! because we are also going to be treated to 2 days at Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure parks!! It has been so long since I’ve been to Disneyland that (dare I date myself?!?!?) the last time I went was as a senior in High School – a full 8 years BEFORE the California Adventure Park opened! Needless to say, I’m really excited for the opportunity to go and experience a Mad T Party, visit Ariel down under the sea, meet Merida in person, and explore 12 acres of fun in Cars Land where they bring Radiator Springs to life!
A HUGE thank you to Disney and Pixar for covering all my expenses to experience this amazing opportunity!
