I don’t want to imagine life without the Internet and smart phones, I don’t! Now that I have a smartphone its always by my side. When I purchased my phone almost 3 years ago, I didn’t really need the fancy phone. But now, I’d be lost without it! I am able to save money by using it when shopping (to check prices or to store my loyalty cards and coupons). The phone, and the additional money I pay for a monthly data plan, more than pay for themselves with the money I save – and that’s a good feeling. I also love that I’m not stuck at home in front of the computer because I don’t miss any online deals.
Now that I’m a full-time stay-at-home Mom with two small children, I can’t afford to pay full price for anything! So if I’m out shopping and come across something we need for the house or clothes for the kids, it has to be on sale. I’d also prefer to have a coupon that can be used to save even more. And the same goes for online shopping, I want the best deal and I want it to be easy.
Thanks to the Internet and sites like Couponcodes4u.com it’s fun and painless. They are the U.S’s largest website for online discounts, special offers and deals with promotional codes and offers for over 10,00 online stores and its FREE. They have grocery coupons, restaurant coupons and exclusive offers.
My friends sometimes laugh at me if we’re on a shopping trip and I don’t buy anything because I know I can find a better deal. So I really enjoy finding that great deal and then sharing it with them too. It made me feel good last week when I had dinner with some of my close Mom friends and one of them shared the story of how I found sheets she’d been looking for at Kohl’s . When she saw them they were around $100, but with a Kohl’s sale and coupon, I paid just $15 for the same set!
Its so important for families to save money these days as the prices of everything from diapers to groceries continue to rise. Many of my friends wouldn’t be able to stay home with their children if they weren’t able to save with coupons due to the tough economy we’ve all been experiencing. Not only can you save money, but as many of you already know, you can make money when using coupons. I have several friends that leave the grocery store with a cart full of groceries and a few dollars in their pocket.
Right now, as we’re making our grocery list for Thanksgiving dinner, I’m looking for coupons to reduce our grocery bill so we have some money to spend on Black Friday when we start our Christmas shopping. The more money I’m able to cut from our bill, the bigger our Christmas budget will be this year.
So with Black Friday and Cyber Monday just around the corner its time to start planning and get organized. Sure you can go stand in line, fight the crowds and traffic, battle it out for a parking spot or you can plan ahead and stay home too shop online and score some great deals online instead. I’m keeping my eye on the Sears deals – how about you? How has couponing helped you and your family?
