Chinese food is yummy to eat but can be difficult to prepare with good results and often requires long preparation times. Day-Lee Foods, a wholly owned subsidiary of Japanese meat packing giant Nippon Meat, creates authentic frozen Asian dishes. All of their Crazy Cuizine line are fully cooked, just heat and serve. They’re also packed with protein, preservative free, and contain no trans-fats or MSG.

I was recently sent both the Orange Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken entrees to try.  Being of asian decent, I frequently prepare these sorts of dishes from scratch and can be very picky about pre-made packaged or frozen options.  They just always seem to be missing that “something”.  I am being completely honest here when I say that this brand has absolutely NAILED IT.  Both the varieties I was sent were far above my expectations for both quality and flavor.  I am super happy to have found a quick fix dinner solution for when I’m craving Chinese, but don’t feel like putting in the time and effort to make it.

The company only uses all 100% natural white meat and extremely lean beef from the United States. Dishes are prepared using authentic flavors from the Far East inspired by the Silk Road trade routes and made in their state of the art facilities located in Southern California. Their facility has received four consecutive “Gold” standard awards for food safety and quality practices. Day-Lee foods is currently one of the top three Asian frozen food brands in the country.

Crazy Cuizine products were created to give your taste buds a tour of authentic Japanese and Chinese favorites. Their orange chicken is made with all natural chicken breast that’s lightly battered and covered in a delicately sweet Mandarin orange sauce. While their Teriyaki features steamed chicken breast in a mouth watering Day-Lee Foods original teriyaki sauce. After a busy day you can come home, heat one of their entrees, and serve with some rice or  other vegetable and dinner is served.

Other products in the Crazy Cuizine line include: pork potstickers, authentic tangerine beef, Korean inspired bbq chicken and General Tso’s chicken. Crazy cuisine products can be found at select Costco and BJ’s Wholesale Clubs across the country and in Albertsons, Ralphs, Food for Less, Raley’s, SaveMart and Lucky Supermarkets throughout California and the Pacific Northwest.

Day-Lee Foods can be found on Facebook. The post different fun and interesting Asian facts and traditions on their wall like: “In Japan, when you buy a new pair of shoes, you have to wear them for the first time in the morning. It is unlucky to wear them for the first time in the evening or afternoon.”
