Ok – so one of the comments I get the most about couponing is “but I don’t eat processed foods” or “sure, the coupons are always for junk food that I don’t want to feed my kids”.
Living in an area where grocery stores RARELY double coupons, I pretty much live by this philosophy – I get all my day-to-day bathroom and household items (which are the most pricey anyway) for free so that I can afford to spend more at the grocery store on fresh produce and meat.
Well, I have news for you guys. The organic and healthier food manufacturer’s and stores are (slowly) getting on the coupon band wagon. There is a Whole Foods right across the street from us and guess what, each week they usually have 1 or 2 items that you can score for FREE. And many items are brought down to a very reasonable price with coupons – yay!
