Everyone prefers bottled water to tap. I know I do. Especially since moving into our apartment. This is the first time I’ve ever *avoided* drinking water straight out of the tap. It’s just gross here. Its so bad that a regular tap attachment filter or pitcher type filter just doesn’t do the job. The water still tastes “dirty”.

The Zuvo Water Filtration System uses a patented five-step process to produce clean, healthy, great tasting water…just the way nature intended!
Step 1: Ozonation
In nature, ozone is generated by lightning and cleans the air where rainwater forms. The Zuvo mixes ozone with incoming tap water to treat taste and odor contaminants and improve taste. Like chlorine, ozone is a powerful oxidizer. Unlike chlorine, ozone leaves no chemical residue.
Step 2: Ultraviolet Light
The ozone saturated water is flooded with high-intensity UV light – the same as the solar energy that cleans water in the upper atmosphere.
Step 3: Photo-oxidation
The Zuvo Water Filtration System combines UV and ozone in a patented process known as photo-oxidation which releases powerful oxidizers to further treat the water.
Step 4: filtration with lead removal
Pure spring water is created by passing through fine particles in the earth. Zuvo uses the same principle by passing water through a Class 1 Particulate Reduction Filter, reducing chlorine taste and odor, lead, and tiny particulates.
Step 5: post-filtration UV

So What Does All This Come Down To?
I’ll put it as simply as I can. My tap water tastes like pooh. After using the Zuvo Water Filtration System, it tastes great! I was soooo skeptical before I got it. I seriously thought nothing could help my tap water. But it really does taste great! I am so pleased with the unit and wish I had known about it sooner. Oh well, all those times we lugged 4 or 5 gallon jugs of water back from the grocery store were much needed exercise, right? :) That what Ben keeps telling me!
