With the 4th of July coming up this weekend I’m sure if your like me that you’re in holiday overload, so many things to do and get before your big celebration. But don’t worry you don’t have to spend a ton of money on party decorations you can just make them yourself and even get your kids to help out and make it into a fun project for the whole family.
Since you still have a bazillion things left to do I have found some great ideas for you to make your celebration great whether it’s a party for a big crowd or just your family, it’s sure to be a hit. You can find these super cute Chocolate Dipped Rice Crispy Popsicles over at Twig and Thistle. They’re an easy treat to make and it’s on a stick, perfect no sticky fingers.
These are sure to be a hit and with only three ingredients; strawberries, chocolate and sprinkles. You can find the recipe for Red-White-And-Blue Strawberries over at Baking Bites. Your kids can make them and have a great time helping, just watch out, they’re so delicious they might all get eaten before the party.

The only thing that I would change is I would use different flavors of Kool Aid instead of colored water, we made these as kids and they were delicious.

Now it’s time to decorate you, these cute little flip flops top off any outfit and are the perfect way to show your patriotic spirit. While You’re at the Dollar Store be sure to grab some Metallic Garland to make a cute hair piece for you and the kids. You can find the instructions for this 4th of July Hair Clip over at Sugar Bee. You could even use some to make a little matching bracelet by just wrapping it around your wrist.
